For nearly five decades, their intricate compositions, soaring melodies, and thoughtful lyrics have captivated fans worldwide. At the center of it all is Michael Sadler - co-founder, frontman and the voice behind classics like “On the Loose” and “The Flyer.”
In recent years Michael has faced and overcome personal health challenges, including successful surgery for a rare cancer in 2024. Now stable and more grateful than ever, he has channeled that reflection into something truly special: a heartfelt father-son YouTube series.
Hosted Seren Sadler - our young ambassador, stalwart supporter and shop apprentice, now a talented young man of 18 - the channel offers an intimate, track-by-track journey through SAGA’s iconic catalog. Seren discovers many songs for the first time while Michael shares the stories behind them. It’s a genuine generational conversation: pure music, real connection, no hype.
Seren first joined the band on tour at age 7, and has continued to be publicly involved with SAGA ever since - he even has a special vocal cameo on “Wind Him Up” from the 2021 album Symmetry. While Michael has spent decades on the road away from home, Seren somehow managed to share his Dad's time with grace and enthusiasm—helping with promotion, assisting crews, and supporting the band and family with his pure heart and unwavering dedication.
